Get out of the Way!

How many times have you said this to your children because you were afraid they would get hurt? Sometimes you wanted them out of the way because you were trying to accomplish something and they were hampering it.

How do you think God feels? He doesn’t want you to get hurt! He wants to accomplish a task and you are hampering it! Us fathers understand both of these scenarios.

Our Father desires our obedience because He knows what is best for us. We on the other hand want to impress Him! We do not need to impress God. He loved us before we loved Him. He loves us because we are His children. He loves us with a love so great we will never understand it.

Apostle Thomas Adebayo, the Apostle of Fire, shared a thought with me that revolutionized my walk with God. It is so simple my two children told me they understood it at age ten and eleven. Here it is;

Work With God, Not For God!

God can accomplish more in one second than we can in an entire lifetime. He does not need us to do anything for Him. God sent us the Holy Spirit to work with us and through us. Our task is extremely hard for us to do! God wants us to FOLLOW and not LEAD!

Jesus said, “Follow me!” He did not say, “Lead me!”

Want to experience the blessings of God to the fullest? Begin to listen and follow His lead. If you will begin to listen, He will speak to you. The more you listen, the clearer His voice will become.

Ask God to immerse you into the Holy Ghost. He said, “Ask.” He will immerse, baptize, you into the Holy Spirit along with the Holy Ghost living inside of you. Our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Now we can have Him surrounding us too.

Get out of God’s way and He will amaze you. Move in Him and not in front of Him. He is the Almighty, the maker of heaven and earth. He is the beginning and the end. Every good thing comes from God!
