Get Real!

Stop playing games and God will honor your every desire. I’m not talking to you, I’m talking to me. Want to be the head and not the tail? Me too! We are all liars! We lie to ourselves and convince ourselves that we are what we are not. Don’t get mad at me! If I say, “I want to please God” and don’t consider Him before every decision, I am deceived. I am a liar! How can I want to please Him if I don’t even consider Him?

King David was a man after God’s own heart. King David did all that God asked. If I say I want to be like that and I am not, I am a liar. What can I do to change that? I can give control to the Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, and let Him lead and guide me. Until I give total control over to Him I will stay where I am.

How in the world am I going to get real? The answer is plain, I’m not! I have to get out of the world and into the spirit! Prayer and fasting is required for things like this. If I am in control, God is not! I’m talking to me, I’m the one who needs this lesson.

“I want to Get Real my Father. Lord Jesus I want to please you. You said ask and it shall be given unto you. Father, I am asking in the name of your precious son, Jesus, for your help to Get Real. I want to be my word as you are your Word. Do whatever you must to get me to that place. Open my spirit eyes that I may see. Circumcise my heart that I may obey as David did. Thank you my Father for helping me Get Real, in Jesus name, Amen”

I totally rely on the fact that the Holy Ghost can help me Get Real. My seed will be blessed if I can just Get Real. My grandfather was a Baptist lay preacher who died in 1912. My dad was two at the time. Grandpa loved Jesus and wrote his first sermon in 1896. I have that sermon, The Peace That Passes Understanding. I am his seed. Thank God for my grandfather who made a way for one such as me.
