Start a Word Warriors Home Bible Study Group in 3 Simple, Easy Steps!

Being the leader of a Bible Study in your home elevates you to a higher position in the family. The best way to understand any subject is to teach it. Teaching forces you to research and learn that subject. Bible study is the same.

Caution: Learn this well, “ALL OF HIM, NONE OF ME”

It is all about Jesus and none about us. The Holy Spirit is here to lead us to the Cross of Christ and to the Blood Jesus paid for our Adoption into God’s family.

To prepare to lead a Bible Study you must be saturated in God’s Word. The easiest way to saturate is to LISTEN to the God’s Word at night as you sleep. Just 90 nights in God’s Word equals 10 times through the entire Bible.

Teaching scripture is best done by listening to the text ten or more times and listening to the two chapters before and after the text at least a couple of times. The scripture means what it says. The Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost is our teacher.

Religion would like to control you. The difference is that Christianity is a relationship with Father God through the Blood of His son Jesus. God gave control to us.

At Jesus request, God sent the Holy Spirit to be with us and in us to do Jesus work here on earth. Jesus said, “Greater works than these will you do.”

The same Holy Ghost that came upon Jesus at His baptism by John the Baptist is here today. The same Holy Spirit that came upon the disciples in the Upper Room on the day of Pentecost will come upon you today if you ask.

Remember this: Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. The Kingdom of God is at hand. The Kingdom of God arrived on the day of Pentecost. Jesus prayed every day for at least an hour. Jesus knew the Word of God. Jesus was empowered by the Holy Spirit. He is our model.

Think about this, the Holy Spirit is the author of the Bible through men. The Holy Ghost fathered Jesus through the Virgin Mary. Who better to explain a book than the author himself? The author of the Word of God is available to teach you today.

Caution: Learn this well, “ALL OF HIM, NONE OF ME”

Step #1.

Ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide and direct you to the relevant verses or chapter of the Word to teach. You will learn to follow His leading through practice. Get to know His voice. He will never leave you nor forsake you!

Step #2.

Listen to the verses or chapter at least 10 or 12 times and meditate on this scripture to allow God to bring it to life in your spirit. Read the verses or chapter so that it will be imprinted in your heart.

Use a good Study Bible that will give you corresponding verses to review. Go to www.CrossWalk.com to cross- reference other scriptures as a resource.

Make notes to help you explain the point you want to make. It is important to make only one point. Not only will your family group learn, you will learn even more. You want this point imprinted in the spirits of your study group.

Step #3.

Start off with prayer asking the Holy Ghost to come into your home to lead and guide you. Ask each person to pray a short prayer to involve them.

Play the Word aloud on your Word Warriors Audio Bible™ so that all can hear the Word. Share your thoughts and let the others comment. Stay focused on the message and keep on the Word.

You are the leader of this Bible Study. Do not get distracted to other subjects.
